When did agriculture become a dirty word?

U.S. Farmers & Ranchers AllianceFor the first time in history – agriculture has come together and formed the United State Farmers & Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) to start the conversation and answer Americans’ questions about how food. But when did agriculture become such a dirty word to consumers, the media, ourselves??

Farmers & ranchers want everyone to know how food is raised – while being stewards of the environment, responsibly caring for livestock and maintaining strong businesses and communities. This alliance consists of a wide range of prominent farmer- and rancher-led organizations and agricultural partners to do just that.

And the conversation starts tomorrow.

TOWN HALL MEETING

Americans obviously have a lot of questions about their food – that’s why it is such a hot topic! So with agriculture coming together in this Alliance, they are bringing the conversation – on their big table – to answer questions and listen to consumers.

  • The Newseum in Washington, D.C.
  • Chelsea Studios in New York City
  • UC-Davis Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science in California
  • Fair Oaks Farm in Fair Oaks, Indiana

PARTICIPATE ONLINE

Don’t worry about not being there in person. Technology is amazing and you can participate in Food Dialogues remotely through the webcast on www.fooddialogues.com and on their Facebook page

  1. Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the web the simplest thing to be
aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while
people consider worries that they plainly do
not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a

    Thanks
